when?

我觉得等于下面这个句子： I was playing with radio at home when my interest began.

问题2：赢得一等奖有几种译法? 是不是win first place/win the first place都可以
牛津字典里是第一种

赢一等奖”的常用译法如下:
①win (the) first prize;
②be awarded (the)first prize;
③be given (the )first prize;
④be rewarded with (the)first prize;
⑤take/get/gain/win (the) first p|ace。
若泛指，不用定冠词;若特指，则用定冠词。
以下一句话可译为“谁赢了?/谁得了一等奖?谁得了第一名?"均可
Who wins?

before 一般指 时间的概念
in front of 指 X在Y的前面 X与Y是两个相对独立的物体

据我所知，before 既可指时间慨念，也可指空间距离;而in front of 一般仅指空间距离。仅供参考。

这位老师对before和in front of表示“在……之前”意义时的解释总体来说是对的，提问老师的第四题应有两个答案，这可能是出题人疏忽或者没有弄清两者的用法所致。
在表示空间或位置概念时，现两者可无区别地使用，不过在表示“动态"空间或生物前多用before,在表示“静态”空间或物体(尤指建筑物)前多用in front of。但在西方世界交易所语言中也偶尔见到in front of 表示时间的特例，如:0n the Foreign Exchange Market, sterling again held firm, reflecting speculative demard in front of tomorrow's announcement on bank rate.在外汇市场上，英镑又复坚挺，反映了明天公布银行贴现率之前的投机需求。

书上有一个句子Friendship is like money:easier made than kept .我怀疑这句当中的easier 应为easilier之误，是不是？
(It is) easier ( to be ) made than ( to be) kept.

这个句子没有错，是一种习惯表达法，由easier said than done.(说起来容易做起来难。)套用而来的，等于What is made is easier that is kept.或者看作
Something is easier to be made than Something is to be kept.的省略形式。应是than what is kept
